In an unexpected turn of events, a meteorite lands in Sevasti's living room, heralding the start of an extraordinary love affair. As the days pass, Sevasti becomes increasingly isolated from her friends, enraptured by the enigmatic black stone. Night after night, the meteorite grows, gradually consuming the entire living room with its presence.
Sevasti's bond with the meteorite deepens, forming a loving scheme as mysterious, immutable andas the stone itself. The short film's haunting yet familiar soundscape guides her journey, weaving an auditory tapestry that echoes her emotional transformation. The soundscape, at once eerie and comforting, mirrors the dichotomy of her experience: the intrusion of the otherworldly into the mundane.
Visually, the film masterfully intertwines the colors and textures of rocks, emphasizing their hardness and permanence. This stark contrast highlights the volatile and fragile nature of human emotions and relationships. The interplay of these elements creates a compelling narrative, underscoring the tension between the eternal and the ephemeral.
On her last night on Earth, Sevasti makes a poignant decision. Like a reversed Eurydice, she descends into her own version of Hades, driven by her love for the meteorite. Her journey, guided by the haunting soundscape and enveloped in the rich, vibrant colors of stone, becomes a timeless exploration of love, loss, and the boundaries of human experience.
