Finalist in the interfilm Berlin Script Pitch 2026

I’m happy to share that my short film project 12 Ways to Cure Your Depression is one of eight finalists in the 14th International Script Pitch. The Script Pitch is part of InterForum, the industry programme of the 42nd interfilm Berlin International Short Film Festival (10–15 November). CineSud selected me for the competition through its partnership with the festival.
Since 2013, the Script Pitch has brought screenwriters and writer-directors of short fiction and animation to Berlin. They develop their scripts in an intensive workshop and then pitch them to an international jury. This year’s finalists come from the Netherlands/Greece, Cyprus/Germany, Argentina/Germany, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the Philippines and Ukraine.
As one of the eight finalists, I'll take part in a six-day Script Lab that includes pitch training and informal meet-and-greet sessions with film professionals, before pitching the project live for five minutes on 13 November in front of the jury and an audience of industry guests.
The project is being developed as a Greek-French co-production, produced by Mairy Kolonia at Lucid Dreamers Productions.
I'm looking forward to bringing the script into the room with seven other selected writers and to what the week in Berlin will bring for the project.
